The first “Midnight In Chicago” Audio Podcast on Autism was researched, recorded and published in the Spring of 2007. Since then, a number of national and international organizations and individuals have included links to the MIC AUdio Podcasts on Autism, recognizing them as a wonderful and factual resource for parents, caregivers, educators and professionals alike.

The First Annual "Midnight In Chicago" Art Competition was held in the Fall of 2006 with nominations during October and the Competition during November. It was created to give under recognized visual artists the opportunity to become better known in their own community as well as a broad. It also provided the opportunity to raise awareness of, and funds for, Autism as votes required a $5 donation to the Autism Societies in the participating regions.

The Second Annual "Midnight In Chicago" Art Competition was held in the Fall of 2007 with nominations again during October and the Competition during November. The regions participating doubled in number and nearly 500 Artist nominations were received.

The Third Annual "Midnight In Chicago" Art Competition will be held in April 2009 to coincide with Autism Awareness Month.

This year marks the first year for the "Art From The Heart' Fundraising Event -- the latest in our many MIC projects. The concept is to partner organizations and businesses with a visual artist in order to co-paint a work of art over the course of 4 hours. For a $5 donation, individuals can vote for the canvas they like best. The winning piece, along with half of the money raised over the fun-filled 4 hour period, is presented to the Autism Society in participating regions. The remaining half of the money raised goes to the winner's charity of choice in the community.
